Hey RR! I had to take a break from SI for a while. The wife's company got bought out & when the health insurance switched over the new insurance company refused to pay for a medication I was taking (Humira) that was starting to make a real difference. Needless to say it didn't take long for things to go south again.

My rheumatologist put me on another drug that isn't as effective (Enbrel). And like the Humira, Enbrel takes 2-3 months to show results. Soooooooo, I wasn't feeling too wel for the longest time.

It's now been 2 months on Enbrel & it is beginning to show some results.

C`est la vie.

On the bright side I just returned from a very relaxing vacation - a week in the outer banks - a one day trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway & a day in West Virginia's mountains.

We saw our first Blackbird on the way...

We had an ocean front house in Rodanthe.

Here's a pic from the balcony...

That's the better half dipping her toes...

We saw some spectacular sunsets & sunrises...

And we took along our girls...

The Natural Bridge was a beautiful site to see...

And so was Wild, Wonderful, West Virginia...
