Yum! I'll be right over for dinner! I miss chanterelles. I used to pick them in the woods and bring them home from work.

Living a long held dream is important. I think I told you about my Dad, who gave up flying lessons in Honolulu when he was ordered to recruiting duty in Butte. Fifty years later, my Mom noticed that he needed something to excite his interest and bought him flying lessons. He passed the physical and eye test, and all the ground school. He soloed several times and had flown two of three segments of a 300 mile cross country requirement for his pilot's license the weekend before he died. He never completed his dream, but he was close.

Neeka, I've been lost boating and I've been lost hunting for chanterelles.

Trust me, you need a GPS.

And make it a Garmin (heh-heh-heh).

BTW, I'm now near Shelton, where the cuts used to be excellent mushroom grounds. Not so good anymore.
