weak cash paid to whom? speaking on whose behalf? there are tang, song, yuan, ming and qing treaties covering brunei, and in the archives, waiting their day in the light and as brunei was part and parcel of the java kingdom, the counterparty to the above mentioned treaties, i would venture to guess that nz was a protectorate of the java kingdom, or could easily be argued so btw, is your treaty witnessed and chopped by the middle kingdom? no? too bad, then it is not good enough.
