Besides, I was comparing brinker with other newsletter writers, mutual fund managers, etc.--NOT with Warren Buffett, a few hedge fund managers and those brilliant individuals who may have put ALL their money in the W5000 20 years ago. <<Did you hear Bill Sharpe tell Brinker that 50:50 was "too conservative?" I see no point in taking on that extra risk when I'm already at critical mass. What would be the point? I don't consider those words "insults." They are just descriptive words that may not be 100% accurate but are fine IMO unless someone is very thin-skinned. When someone calls you a moron you don't get all upset, because you know the person doesn't mean it literally. Same with someone calling me a shill.
