I know an awful lot about real life, apparently a whole lot more than you do. I've worked with many Muslims, both Arab and otherwise. They aren't my enemies, nor do they hate us for our freedoms. Heck, that is why they are here. One, in particular, was an engineer in Iran. When the mullahs took over, he fled with his family and wound up in the US. He didn't like the Shah, but knew the mullahs would be worse. One thing he liked about the US was religion and government were kept separate. Considering what happened to his homeland, perhaps you can see why. Although, I doubt it.

When you're in school everyone is nice, the whole world is beautiful. Unfortunately, once you leave the comfort of school and deal with the real life's problems you soon realize that your ideal world is far from the realities of life. As you begin to work and earn your money, you will be less sharing with those who are able-bodied and prefer to sponge off of you. You will also begin to notice cultural differences and will take offense at those who attack yours. Don't take my word for it. Years ago, the roles were reversed and I too could not believe what someone else was telling me. See me in a few years after you settle down. Do you know David Ray? You and he would get along famously.
