Tenet was working for Cheney and Rumsfeld, lying. Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld who were the real Axif Of Evil taking us into a nasty76 mess in Iraq based on packs of lies, never take responsibility themselves. They always try to blame underlings, like Tenet. We now know that six months before the invasion the CIA's Middle Eastern station chief recruited one of Saddam's inner circle who confirmed what turned out to be true, that Saddam had no WMD and hadn't since 1992, and that all he had were some depleted mustard gas shells useful only for trench warfare like during the Iran-Iraq War, when Reagan/Rumsfeld armed both sides.
