Why would any nation attack the US ?
Do you think that's because we are so strong or because no one has an interest. I take the latter.

The lack of a real threat is currently a big problem for our military. To justify their control of the budget, not to mention their own existence, they roam the world looking for third-rate countries to bully. Look how the all-powerful US Air Force can dominate the skies over the goat herders of Afghanistan ! Such courage. How about an anti-missile system in Poland to guard against non-existent Iranian missiles. Look at a map, Poland is a horrible place to protect the eastern and southern flanks of NATO, but well placed to needle Russia.
Nevertheless, the US will never attack Russia or China or anyone else with a real capability to put up a fight. Tell tale signs of a bully.

More of a threat is the loss of the dollar to Asian currencies. We can't outspend China on war supplies if they have all our dollars.
