Clockwise is the only direction that makes sense because the left foot is the pivot foot and a dancer does not lead with the pivot foot.

Try blowing up and cropping the image to see only the feet and lower legs.

I'm another left-brainer firmly in the clockwise camp - but it did reverse for me after I looked away and then back.

I suspect it actually has nothing to do with left/right brain orientation. I'd guess nearly everyone on this board is a "left-brainer" - maybe we can compare our results with some "right-brain" board someplace. :)
