"We are," warns Gore, "altering the balance of energy between our planet and the rest of the universe".

What do you think greenhouse gases do? They keep more energy (heat) here, instead of allowing it to radiate back to the universe. The balance is altered. The earth warms. Don't you understand English?

It looks like you forgot to keep your appointment with the Wiz.
I'll get you a new one.

Rep. Roscoe G. Bartlett, a Republican from Maryland and a former scientist, took the opportunity later to teach Mr. Rohrabacher some basic atmospheric chemistry with an analogy. If you have 1,000-pound weights on each side of a seesaw and add 1,000 pounds to one side, it's going to go down, he said. If you have 1,000-pound weights on each side of a seesaw and add 100 pounds to one side, it's still going to go down.

I suppose you prefer $85/bbl for oil sent to Muslims, so they can kick our butts out of Iraq. You did vote for that path didn't you?
