LIAR. The Surge was a phony excuse to keep the war going, as General Sanchez so clearly explains. It did some temporary good in one or two provinces but it's just a finger in the dike to stop some of the bleeding. It also entailed arming and funding the former Baathists which engages the Shites who control the government. Again, it's a bloody civil war and Bush is responsible for it. 4,000,000 Iraqis are now either dead or homeless. Think about that. In American terms that would be like 40,000,000 Americans killed or homeless. Disaster!

The killing continues every day in Iraq and the worst part is no political progress at all because continued war benefits the warring parties, including the Bush war profiteers and oil companies. Bush-cheney and their cronies love chaos, war and disaster. They profit from it every time then use it as a political club to lie to people and try to scare them more. But this has all caught up with them and people are fed up. We want honest caring leaders again, and none of the top GOP contenders fit that bill at all.
