Jay, The Dalai Lama doesn't want to be the head of the territory anymore, so this might be called a red herring. However hard I try I cannot get my head around the DL as representing a bunch of criminals, it's incongruos with my experience of him. I think he is his own person and deserves respect. Yes, I am in favor of Democracy.
