In connection with the Meridian deal, Yamana (AUY) will buy Vancouver-based Northern Orion Resources Inc. (NTO) for 0.543 Yamana shares plus 0.1 Canadian cent (0.1 cent) per share.

Boy, you know how to get confusing! Here's you pre-acquisition:

coug
Stock Price Shares Value Cost Change
NTO #N/A Trd 6.720 #VALUE! $4.96 #VALUE!
TGB $5.69 4.711 $26.80 $5.79 -2%
RBY $2.19 16.587 $36.37 $2.01 9%
coug Total = #VALUE!

So you had 6.720 shares of NTO. So you get 0.543 x 6.720 = 3.649 shares of AUY + a penny Canadian $ per share so we'll give you a penny US $ per share to keep it easy, and give you $0.0672 cents cash.

How's this look?
