To be sure, volatility won't be dropping any time soon. Makes trading options very interesting - and profitable if you can stay on your toes - and keep your nerve. The latter is most difficult.

I have a monster DVN spread (short both the Oct $90 puts and calls). There is a total (across the puts and calls) of $2.50 (2.7%) time premium, with just three trading days left before expiry. If you are bored at work try selling one of those.

I actually have my option position hedged with equity. If it runs to the upside, I won't get hurt as badly.
