unclewest;

you argue daily that we can do more with less military.......... you fail to put forth one solid new solution...not even an idea

You have to be kidding! I have given many times and recently many solutions; such as stop policing the world, stop nation building (remember Bush told me he wouldn't do NB). I would add to that that if stop the NB, you can reconfigure the military into smaller and faster and more efficient units. (Listen to Dr. Paul).

What do you use for your comparisons and apparent esoteric arguments that the cost is too high. So far when challenged you use words like stupid to counter. That is childish.

Name calling unclewest - can't make an argument without name calling? .......I use the argument, as clearly pointed out, that we are spending as much as the rest of the planet combined! If that isn't a good argument that we are spending too much - then there will never be one. The last time a nation spent this way was USSR and it broke that country. The last time before that it was Germany under Hitler and it broke that country!!

If the republicans want this military complex, then be prepared to pay for it - with taxes!
