That is very interesting! An adze that finds its way from Hawaii to who knows where? I bet there are many others, from all origins in all travel ways, just waiting to be found. They've traced human migration by determining the patterns of certain gene markers in the male population too. The early Polynesians learned to navigate from the stars and by intimate knowledge of wave patterns on the surface of the ocean. Human ingenuity has no bounds.
