Iraq was never about WMD's.

Any semi cogent observer of the American political scene, circa 2000+, should be able to ascertain the reason for the Iraq quagmire.

It was always about the 2004 presidential election and achieving the near impossible feat of getting the most incompetent president in history re-elected.

To look elsewhere is akin to OJ looking for his wifes murderer.

Why this obvious reason continues to elude the main stream media, and most everybody else, is one of the great mysteries of our age and speaks to the inability of Americans to make critical observations concerning vital issues.

Didn't anyone take note of Card's comment on Roves, Iraq War, product launch initiative?

"From a marketing point of view, you don't introduce new products in August."

White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card in 2003, explaining why "Project Stampede America Into Iraq War II" was introduced in September.
