When my children were in pre-school both of them were bitten a number of times by different kids and I wasn't too happy about it, but the appropriate action for such things is a time-out and a talk with the parents.

A kindergarten student at Bonham Elementary has been expelled for 12 months because school officials believe she cut another student's lip with a pair of scissors.

apparently the little brat has done it before, i'd have her removed from class as well, only a matter of time before she gouges a classmates eye out or some craziness like that

btw....

i found this of interest because believe it or not, when i was in kindergarten, a boy (also kindergarten) cut my index finger almost to the bone with a pocket knife (they used to let us bring weapons like that to school back in the day...lol)

he got sent to the principal and got a paddling and expelled for a week as i recall ( and probably got spanked again by his parents) as i recall...he left me alone after that <g>

i'm sure these 'appealing' parents think their li'l darlin' can do no harm...

riiggggght.
