LIAR. Iran was not a problem since the 80's until Bush-Cheney stepped in. They were no major problem whatsoever to us in the 90's. And in 2001 they elected a pro-western crop of new parliament reps, who were all swept back out of power after Bush invaded Iraq and made threatening speeches against Iran. So Bush created the current problem, maybe even deliberately.

But now that Putin is arm in arm with Iran's leader what is Bush going to do? That's why Carter and Reagan had no options, because the Soviets and Russia have always been Iran's ally, and they don't want the US to have Iranian oilfields, which is really all this is about besides Bush's civil war in Iraq.
