Your statement requires some empathy on Jozef's part, a quality in short supply with the right. Yep, he seems to think the blue collars are just a bunch of bums that don't put out an "effort" to make a living, buy a house in a decent 'hood, raise kids. Only the rich work hard and the only measurement of worth is your W2. And they really do believe this garbage. I had to venture into GOP country today.......yes, there are some even here..........and while I was talking to the owner, a black man came into his shop. First of all, you could tell that the black man was incredibly uncomfortable. He had a nervous laugh which was starting to get on my nerves when I realized why he was so nervous. He knew he was in the territory of the enemy. After all, I knew the owner was my enemy too but it didn't make me nervous. After the black guy left, the owner turned to me as I expected and said to me: "I don't know of a black man who is mechanically inclined. I wonder if that guy was BSing us." [to save money, the black guy was going to try and make a repair rather than buying new]. The moral of the story.....there is none. Its just the way things are.
