That was precisely my point. What is going to happen to make it palatable. Would you have believed 10 years ago that the Patriot Act would be law, that the US would torture prisoners and spy on it's own people? They seem hell bent on going forth with the NAU, albeit quietly. Just last week Vincente Fox told Larry King that the "long" term plan is to have a common currency, but it had suffered a setback by the actions of Venezuela. That came as a surprise to me because I had only heard that it would be the US, Mexico and Canada, but perhaps it is the intent to have only the north to start, followed by the south. I dunno, but it concerns me.
