Coxe has always had a penchant for shooting himself in the foot with his retarded political commentary, interspersed with his well developed observations of the economic and financial realities and their investment ramifications. I too find that disconnect unnerving and curious. How one can be so astute regarding effects and so blind as to causes is indeed a mystery.

You have no idea how many arguments I have gotten into on the boards over raising the royalty in Alberta. Oil companies have people so nervous that everyone will loose their jobs, houses etc. People in the oil and industry find it hard to believe that there are people in this province it won't affect at all one way or the other and we should be thinking about the future of Alberta and leaving something for grandkids, great grandkids instead of wanting to spend everything now. Oil is a depleting commodity and one day it won't be feasible to remove.
