jim,

for the porsche, try the road from grand junction south headed towards delta. turn right about 5 miles south of junction on the road headed to gateway. stop in gateway and look at the car museum. gatewaycanyons.com

head towards nucla, naturita along the dolores (i think) river and over to paradox canyon. stonecanyonadventures.com
then head west towards moab, utah and north to i-70.

that road was built for porsche and crotch rockets. nary a cop to be seen. ever. in fact you probably won't see another person.

moab folk festival coming up in november will be a good excuse to make the trip. bruce cochburn playin' in it along with a bunch other folk. tickets here moabfolkfestival.com

try it, you'll like it. maybe even see ya there...

bill

Jim, its been a few years. I'm at BP now, and have a 4 and 2-1/2 year old.

I'm also expecting a blip over $10 for gas, but as always its a weather game.

I'd love to see what that kind of power is like, sounds like a blast.
