Bernard; I don't think charts have any magic in them that I am aware What! Stop that talk. They are all voodoo. If people didn't believe in them they might not work, but since people believe in the magic they become self fullfilling.(now that comment deserves a <g>) steve

Tomorrow will be the 20th anniversary of the 1987 "Black Monday", but many people don't pay as much attention to the "Oct 19" date, as to the day of the week & consider that the anniversary will take place on Monday.<g> The DOW & the SP had an intraday reversal yesterday from the upside to the downside, but its seems that today the reversal may be in the other direction, albeit it is too soon to tell for sure.<g> Several publications, including Barron's & the WSJ have been calling attention to the date, & it is possible that some people are waiting to make sure that the market will behave OK on Monday.<g> online.barrons.com Bernard
