Yes, I can back up the comments. I pulled Citi Group CRD and this is what it stated in the case of the $300,000 fine. Sorry to burst your bubble

Sorry to bust your bubble Patchie but the Citi Group fine of $300,000 was for OVER reporting short interest in only one security.

Yes, Over Reporting short interest and had nothing to do with naked short selling.

Submitted to the NASDAQ short interest position of 1,188,248 shares in one security when its actual short interest position in the security was 788,157 shares
