LIAR. Kerry told the truth about Vietnam atrocities and saved the lives of many-many troops be helping to end that war sooner. Nixon would have kept it going forever if not for very credible powerful voices like Kerry's standing up to him and demanding an end to the insane madness. There was never any good reason for us to be in Vietnam in the first place, and certainly no reason to escalate it into a huge war. It was a collosal waste which crippled our military for a decade after, and Bush is now doing the same damn evil thing in Iraq. Anyone who stands up to Bushb now and tells the truth, like General Sanchez or Pat Tillman (before the Bushies murdered him) is a true hero. Just as Kerry was in 1971. Yes the My Lai massacre was real, Agent Orange was real, burning down hootches was real, destroying forests and rice paddies was real, torturing suspects was real, assassination campaigns were real, corruption was real and 55,000 American boys did not come home because two presidents told the country great big fat lies.
