Who knows. 70 mattered in the Fall of 2005, 80 in the Summer of 2006. Note that once high oil prices mattered, they did not last long - oil got a different weight in GS commodity index in the Summer of 2006, etc. -g- I guess high oil price does not matter until gas prices rise. Those are still lower than post-Katrina or Summer-06. Yen always matters. Now that the dollar is falling against it, the fall should matter -g-

Welcome to the Weimar republic -g- These futures pumping jokes are boiling down to that. I predict 66, then 6.6, then 0.66 for USDX if these jokes continue, and it won't matter until Shrub and Ben are both replaced. -g- How soon will oil go above 100? Note: Stocks did not go up at all in the past year if you factor in the dollar drop. Don't even have to value them in gold terms. Dow is going to be priced at 1 gold OZ or below, no matter what. -g-
