Quit lying to protect HMO and Pharma greed. The facts are that about 35% of our health care money gets sucked up by the corporate profit margin, Pharmas charge US customers 2-12 times as much for drugs as they charge even the VA. And HMO's are in the busiess of denying and limiting coverage, not giving it. If you are a claims person at an HMO and you don't have a certain percentage of denials, you are fired. That is the wrong way to run a system which keeps its citizens alive.

Also in the Constitution it says we have the right to pursue LIFE, liberty and happiness. LIFE cannot be applied to justfertilized eggs and foetuses, it must be applied to babies, kids, adults and old people too. When the GOP goes against universal healthcare it proves it's really the death Party, corporate windfall profits being more important to them than the health of babies or our kids.

HMO's in California were just rated by a watchdog groups. Not a single one got a positive mark. There were a couple which were rated fairly good, the rest were poor. That is no way to run a health care system when we are the richest country in the world. We are something like 30th in the world now in health care quality. That's outrageous.
