Steve, another example of our sound-bite media at work:

Airlines squeeze fliers as profit soars

latimes.com

An excerpt:

> Profit at American Airlines, the nation's largest carrier, jumped more than tenfold to $175 million in the third quarter while Delta Air Lines, the third-largest, said net income quadrupled to $220 million compared with the year-earlier period. Profit would have been higher if not for rising fuel costs.

I would not consider $220M to be "soaring profits" for a company whose quarterly revenue is $4.5B.

$2,100,000?

If the democrat Senators who signed it have ANY HONOR when they match it the Marine Law Enforcement Foundation will benefit form the over $90,000,000 in contributions as they match the original. Rush is matching the amount.

With all that money they can start an annual "Abuse of Power" scholarship.
