Steve, anyone following the airline industry should know that profits have always been elusive for all but a few companies, most notably Southwest and JetBlue. That's why the "soaring profits" part of the title caught my eye. Weren't the major domestic airlines losing tons of money just a few years ago, especially with the post-9/11 fears that still linger? Now they're being portrayed similarly to Big Oil. Must be global warming. Yeah, that's it ... Tenchusatsu
