Thanks Nadine....I'll do that when I get a chance.

I've never listened to Hugh Hewitt, and don't really know much about him, but from what I understand, he's a principle player in tracking down media bias.

My distrust of the MSM, and the NYTs in particular, stemmed from articles written by people in the New Media who pointed out inaccuracies and outright lies........with actual facts I might add..... of sources that we all relied upon to accurately report the news. Up to that point, I don't think the average person had ever really asked the question: what IS the news? For me.........this happened very early on when the Internet blossomed into a larger source of information. It was an article written about Walter Cronkite, the VN war, and specifically the Tet Offensive. I was very much taken aback as I too had considered Walter Cronkite, and most of the available information that was being reported as pure journalism and considered all of it reliable and true.

Was I ever naive.

To actually be able to vet an issue or a person like we can today has thoroughly marginalized people like Walter Cronkite and the people at the NYTs.

That........or something like that.......is what I tried to get across to JohnM, but he wouldn't hear it.
