<<and of course, Harper gets some credit>>

I find that I vote that way a lot.

vote liberal after all the lies :o) One needs to be pragmatic in voting I guess.. I could never waste my franchise married to one party as koan outlines the battle lines in the US...:O)

I voted for Harper but he really ticked me off with the income trust fiasco... 14 billion surplus... Yes the income trust possible billion really hurts ? ... but mostly since he campaigned on honesty and integrity but has proven to be no different from the Liberals he supplanted.. He has a lot of work to do to keep my vote... and he hasn't done a good job so far (and Afghanistan is not even part of my decision) ... Maybe we need to look past the lies... (got binoculars LOL) and evaluate only what did get done regardless of party...

For our American friends... (Liberal) with big L is a party not necessarily a doctrine ... at times one might wonder if they have the correct name..
