I didn't realize that right/left brain thinking had been discredited. Frankly, it does not make sense to me that such a complex organ would be organized that way so I'm not surprised.

Michael Crichton really pins them to the wall, doesn't he? I almost wish he would run for President. I remember reading "Disclosure" some years ago, and at the time I thought it was just the ticket for putting the damper on this stupid sexual discrimination thing. I always thought that the complaining women's mothers were more to blame than the men they complained about.

I wish Crichton would take on the idea of multiculturalism. During the Clinton era we had this shoved down our throats at work. I knew it was wrong-headed then but who am I to articulate that? Every time I challenged it I had to pay in one way or another.

Being against multiculturalism does NOT mean that I'm against the component cultures. It simply means that the superior culture will assimilate the best parts of all others, and eliminate the rest.

We don't really want to adopt that practice of some African cultures where girls have their clitorises excised with a rusty can lid, do we? There are other examples equally as horrible.
