I just pulled it up on google using keywords whole milk calories. there are thousands of sources which accurately depict the fat content of whole milk. There are 160 calories in a glass of whole milk, surely you are not disputing this? The problem is the calories.

I agree with this article, in that milk is just another high calorie addition on top of a high calorie diet, much of the time. the title reads like milk is the issue but really its just the calories in milk that are the problem. As someone who has dieted often I would *never* waste 160 calories on a glass of milk- thats 10% of a dieting teen's 1600 calorie daily intake !

Man, you guys sure LOVE MILK! The dairy industry got their money's worth from their ad campaigns. For the record, my belief is SOY is "the worlds most perfect food", and yet, it gets no respect.

Milk has boatloads of calcium and vitamin D, it's extremely valuable. Women in particular need it (as well as kids). If you don't like the fat, drink skim.

Osteoporosis is a beeotch.
