You know it doesn't matter how much legitimate info you give the Bush voters.......they will never believe it. And that's because it doesn't serve them and their biases. My cousin's wife and I have exchanged a flurry of emails this past week. She would send me an email with something bogus and outrageous and I then would send an email back debunking the story line in her email. The last one was an article written by some rightie who was complaining that the head of the NAACP in Atlanta had brought race into the issue re. M. Vick as a way to deflect from what Vick had done with the dogs. I knew for a fact that that wasn't true because I had read previously what the NAACP head had said. In reality what he said was he didn't condone dog fighting but he also asked that Vick be given another chance and to not destroy his NFL career because of what he did. So I got a copy of the article and sent it to my cousin's wife.......her response: I didn't read the article [I'm not sure which one she means]....and went on to say that she thought her article was interesting and passed it on to me [edit.because she considers me a nigger lover]. Bottom line: they do and say whatever they can to make what's right wrong. So now, instead of learning something from the exchange, she's complaining to my cousin that I am a pain in the ass. And I won't be getting any homemade XMAS cookies this year. <g> And that's where it would have ended 10 years ago..........but now they've taken their BS and nonsense to the political forum and have managed to get some power. And its making for some very dangerous situations.
