Ted, > I saw there was a fire in Lake Forest.....is that the same as the Irvine fire? How are the hills doing around Laguna Niguel?

There is no fire in Lake Forest. The closest ones are in Irvine and in the Foothill Ranch area. The Irvine one has already been put out, but the Foothill Ranch fire (a.k.a. Santiago fire) is huge and will take many days to contain.

Nothing happening near Laguna Beach and Laguna Niguel, though I figure residents ought to be really careful. Even the underside of a car could set dry tinder on fire.
