>Add Atlanta to the list......it has 90 days worth of water in its reservoirs. I can't believe a major American city would allow itself to get into such a shortage of water. Its seems like no one is watching the store.

It's true... I've been saying for years that the one big project nobody's thinking of that I'd undertake if I were President would be a national water grid, so that places with water shortages would be able to receive water from places where there are surpluses and also to introduce major salinization plants on the coasts to ensure a practically endless supply of water.

Would probably be really, really expensive, but cheaper than eventually having to shut down cities like Atlanta and Las Vegas, which is starting to seem inevitable.
