California forest fires are just a small taste of what elevated and accelerating CO2 levels get us.

Santa Ana winds and dry conditions are not new to S. CA. What's interesting is that the fires they are producing are progressively getting larger and more destructive. The only variable that seems to be different is the winds.......we never had hurricane force Santa Anas when I lived in LA. And yet, that's what they were reporting on the news last nite.

The question then that needs to be asked....is climate change increasing the intensity of our weather. Anecdotally, that would seem to be the case......more Cat. 5 hurricanes, more level 5 tornadoes, stronger Santa Anas etc. However, I have not seen it proven factually.
