Look what happens even today to arabs who are accused of collabeation. Of course they left when they were told. If they hadnt there would have been hell to pay if the arabs had won. Alls fair in love an war or perhaps better said unfair. But even after the war, they might have been able to return if as in every other war there was a peace treaty. But the war, albeit mostly cold, went on and on and over time the pals who left essentially lost their claim. Who is to blame for this? The scapegoat or the rejectionist arabs who stuck their heads where the sun dont shine and condemned their own people to concentration camps on their side of the border. None of this is to say that the israelis were or are angels. But you cant expect a country who wins a war and who has an adversary that wont negotiate a peace to bring back what might ultimately be seen as a 5th column given that there was a state of war.

This is horsepucky. The Arabs of Haifa borrowed trucks from the Brits and evacuated themselves despite being told by Ben Gurion and Golda Meir that they had nothing to fear from the Haganah. They said they had to go anyway. It was very orderly. The Arab High Command was making it clear in the early months of 1948 that those Arabs found sitting next to the Jews would be regarded as renegades when they rolled in driving the Jews into the sea. They advised getting out of the way and returning once the Jews were gone.
ROFLMO, Nadine you are too much. Next thing you would tell us that the Muslims crucified Jesus. And the funny thing would be; is that you will show us proof from a blogger.
