Slan, I know exactly what you mean...added GLD at unchanged.

Gold (GLD) has come back to fill the gap it left on Monday on declining volume, not a particularly good sign..As the markets have lifted...As VT suggests, probably all associated with the rate cut ideas du jour.

As to portfolio peaks and valleys...I have a percentage appreciation number that I have hit three times now this year and everytime gains have fallen away quickly to be rebuilt painstakenly slowly in the first two instances. Obviously I'd like to break on through to the other side and stay there, but it looks as though I'll need some help from the FED...Suppose they'll oblige. Wonder if anybody else is in a similar boat.
