Idiot, I asked why are the troops spread so thin all over? Iraq didn't have Al Qaeda before we messed it up. Saddam was paranoid and would not want to let any religious fundamentalists in, lest they kick his butt.

Iraqi parliament speaker says his country can't control Kurdish rebels The Associated Press DAMASCUS, Syria: Iraq's parliament speaker on Wednesday said his country cannot control the activities of Kurdish rebels but pledged to end any logistic support to the guerrilla group and seek a peaceful solution for the current standoff with Turkey. So what do we do - (a) Support Kurds? (b) Support Turkey? (c) Let the whole place burn like the rest of Iraq?
