I lived in Oceanside a mile from the ocean. I'd love to move back! I hated LA too, except for Santa Monica, Malibu and a couple of other areas. You have to live close enough to the ocean to get nature's A/C. Temps ranged from 50 in the coldest winter to 85 in the hottest summer, but most often 65-75 degrees with low humidity, no smog and mountains and ocean just a short drive away.
