Longnshort, > Thunderstorms???? come on. Blizzards one every 15 years and the snow is gone in 2 days.

OK, thunderstorms are no big deal, but I remember having to deal with at least four or five blackouts a year due to thunderstorms. Here, blackouts occur because environmentalists think we shouldn't be generating more of our own power.

As for blizzards, I think Maryland these days can handle them a lot better. Once every 15 years? Try once every three or four years. The snow stays around for quite a while, too. I remember school being out for a whole week during one of those blizzards. Lots of fun.

I miss the snow here, even though I'm too old to enjoy "snow days" anymore.
