There is a post-Zionist wing in Israel, their version of the socialist Euro multi-culti crowd. The death of Oslo dissuaded most of the adherents, however. But the Meretz crowd (think Yossi Beilin) defines the triumph of hope over experience.

I am not an israel expert by any stretch but i would be shocked if Pasrael has legs as an idea in israel. When elroy brought it up, i opted out saying that its a philosophy 101 topic as in how many angels on the head of a pin and not Foreign affairs. If its anything more than that in israel, i would be shocked. But i have been shocked before.

It's more than philosophy 101.

There's even a few books on the topic.
