The point seems to be sacrificing money to satisfy unionized classroom employees (I cannot bring myself to call them teachers or educators in this context). The fact that children become casualties of the sacrificed money appears to be collateral damage.

It breaks my heart to think of the people who grow up without a chance in life because unionized classroom employees lack the necessary tools to provide a proper education. If schools could pay according to results instead of sclerosis children would be better served.
