Hi Don, thank you. I want a replacement desktop. I've "built" a few and saved them in my Dell cart. I don't love Dell but its familiar. I was thinking of a Vostro with a second hard drive. I do backup (the NY Times article says people don't), it has saved my life! I backup externally now but I would like to also backup internally. I figured 2 GB RAM would be enough to handle Vista especially since I'm not a gamer...don't make and edit DVD's etc, though it would be nice to have that capacity. I have a double monitor setup right now so don't need any more monitors. I'm most looking forward to a nice soundcard so I can use the speaker system I bought properly.
