The refugees came from the 47 war for a variety of reasons that have been debated endlessly on this thread. But lets go to the facts. Arabs defied UN and started the war that created the refugees. Arabs lost the war and then refused to negotiate a peace that would have hopefully repatriated refugees for mutual recognition, eco cooperaton etc. Arabs expelled all their jews to israel. Arabs kept camps in squalor on border for reasons also endless argued. All israel did is what every country being invaded did--protect itself. Unlike any other war, losers refused to settle. Unlike any other refugee crisis, losers let their people suffer, hell they benefited by it. Get your facts straight. Arabs expelled all their jews to israel.
