The initial warming? Sure. But, once the warming trend starts, CO2 gets flushed out of deep oceans and the CO2 and other gasses amplify the warming trend.

You see, 800 years or so is about how long it takes to flush deep ocean waters.

But as far as your graph, you (conveniently) fail to mention that CO2 follows (trails behind) global climate changes by 800 years
