Compression? Not for me, Don. Don't have a need for it and don't trust it. I want my backups to be as easy to get to as the originals. Too many changes, what with upgraded processors and OS's and revised versions of the backup software from a company that may disappear, and you can find yourself up the creek without a backup.

I haven't actually done it but I think Parallels allows you to change the partition size of a VM without having to reinstall everything.
