What a coincidence... I have been shopping for weekend, and just today I tried a pack of carlsberg beer; our local supermarket has it on discount (0.59 vs. the regular 0.89 per half litre can). And you re right, the much lower US exchange rate does have a beneficial effect, much like the large brasilian real devaluation had on the brazil economy. I wonder how long the Euro zone and UK can cope with the inflated valuations of their currencies before local ecomomies fall over a cliff.
