If I disbelieve something that (for example) a Muslim does, that isn't a slap in the Muslim's face. If this were the case, we'd all be slapping each other silly. Do you believe everything that, say, a Scientologist or Yazdi or Zorastrian believes? Of course not. But your disbelief doesn't mean you're slapping them in the face. If you don't believe the Sacred Peacock is the ticket to salvation, you aren't slapping anyone. You just don't believe in the Sacred Peacock. That's your right.

There are countless religions, all of which have different ideas of the gods and theologies of endtimes. Religions come and go, someday no doubt new faiths will come up that will supersede the current options. That's one of the many great things about religion - they evolve. So that could be another solution to the problem.
